Ernesto Bedoya (The Mad Hatter and Doorknob)

Ernesto has had the love of theater ever since his first play in high school when portrayed the main character in Silence of the Lambs.  He went on to play Oscar in The Odd Couple and Sam in Life with Irene – a couple of his favorite roles.  A big kid at heart, Ernesto enjoys bringing storybook characters to life like Ernesto in The Princess and the Pea, Gepeto in Pinocchio’s Great Adventure, Captain Hook in Tinker Bell and the Adventure of Treasure Island, and King Richard in Humpty Dumpty Falls in Love.

Currently, Ernesto is writing, producing, and soon to be directing and acting in an original Web Series.  Ernesto is thrilled to be a part of Children’s Magical Theater with Shir and the other cast members!  He is looking forward to see where CMT goes!

Erik, Shir’s Dad (The White Rabbit)

When Erik and Lora (Shir’s mom) were dating, Lora asked Erik if he would audition to be in a romantic comedy with her.  After some coaxing, Erik agreed to ‘make a fool of himself’ – He had never auditioned or acted before.  After landing the lead male role, (Lora got Stage Manager – Laugh Out Loud!), Erik got bit by the acting bug!  Twenty three years later, Shir has invited him to play – the lead bunny!  Please give Erik a warm round of applause for his courage and enthusiasm!  One of his mottos is “Laughter is the best medicine”.

Lora, Shir’s Mom (The Pre-Show DoDo Bird)

Lora has always dreamed of being part of a theater group, especially one dedicated to helping give happiness to children!  She was thrilled when Shir asked her to play The Dodo Bird!  A long time ago, Lora wrote, directed, produced, acted, sang, and danced – something that runs in the family!  Lora couldn’t be more proud of Shir, not only for her hard work and accomplishments, but for who she is and the clever and creative ways she brings more light and love into our lives.  Enjoy the show!
