Know Before You Go and Our Policies

The Music Box door opens at 2:15pm.

Please check in at the front desk upon arrival.

You may purchase a bottle of water.  No outside food or beverage (other than a bottle of milk) is allowed.  You may purchase a snack at the end of the show to be opened and eaten outside The Music Box.  Thank you!

2:30pm Showtime!       Out of respect for our performers and our patrons, there will be No Admittance after 2:35pm

There is one restroom so you may want to have your little one use it before the show begins.

It is general admission (not assigned seating).  Everyone has a great view.  Light-hearted antics and fun interaction takes place around the theater.  The music is not loud or intimidating and there are no flashing lights.

For everyone’s safety, no one is allowed to block aisles, curtains, and doorways.  Please make sure your child is/children are with you at all times.  If they are wandering around, looking behind curtains, and/or making mischief, you will be warned and may be asked to leave.

Goofy characters will encourage respectful audience participation at your seats.  No one is allowed to yell, throw things at, and have physical contact with the actors or the staff.  No one is allowed on stage, unless a character invites you to do so.

Meet and Greet Photo Opp: You will be invited to come on stage one family at a time.  We will respect other patrons’ time and not take more than a couple of minutes with each character.

There is a Concession Stand with Clif bars and spring water and a 'Sweet' Souvenir Shop.  Please bring CASH for the 50/50 Raffle and if you would like to tip the volunteer actors.  We greatly appreciate your support!  Thank you!  :)

There is free and ample parking in front of The Music Box and around the complex.  For a map and photos, please click on the Contact Us tab at the top of the page.

All ticket purchases are a FINAL SALE and there are NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES.  If you know by the morning that you will be unable to attend, you may give your tickets to a friend or let Lora know so she may try to sell the seats.

If you are and/or your child is not feeling well or experiencing any symptoms, as a courtesy to others, please stay home.

If you are unable to buy tickets for another show, please call or send an email to Lora.  Should excessive coughing, sneezing, crying, or other disruptions occur during the performance, you may be asked to leave.

Patrons will be asked to turn off cell phones and noise-making devices, remove hats/tall headwear, and refrain from talking/noise-making during the show - unless a character asks you to do so.

Audio/video recording and taking pictures during the show is strictly prohibited.

Smoking, vaping, and alcoholic beverages in and in front of the building is strictly prohibited.

Patrons who fail to comply with any of Children’s Magical Theater’s and The Music Box’s policies may be asked to leave.

Thank you in advance for adhering to our requests.  The purpose is to help make your experience even more enjoyable!
